What Does Accreditation Mean?

White Mill Veterinary Centre is proud to be an approved member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme. We have been accredited as level 2 small animal practice, and to achieve this we have passed a rigorous inspection carried out by the RCVS (the UK vets' governing body) focusing on a range of areas, including:

  1. standards of care
  2. hygiene
  3. health and safety
  4. staff
  5. clinical governance
  6. acilities provided
The practice is fully re-inspected every four years and subject to spot-checks at any point.

The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative – not all vets are part of it. RCVS accreditation means that you can rest assured that our practice offers a high quality of care for your pet.
